Grapesteak Texture

Old world fence in a wall

This pattern with these 2″ wide perpendicularly placed textured boards known as grapestakes lend a raw mediterranean feel to concrete. Here you can see how varying angles of this pattern performs under the morning sun.
This pattern is often used in established neighborhoods where the “look of a wall” should be toned down to simulate a good neighbor fence. An excellent choice should climbing vines be part of the landscape.
